BrierIQ FAQ

Clear answers about BrierIQ, research alerts, beta coverage, memberships, and support.

BrierIQ provides informational analytics only and does not provide recommendations, execution, or market links.

What is BrierIQ?

BrierIQ is an event-market analytics, calibration, monitoring, and research workflow. It helps users review probability movement, model-market divergence, liquidity quality, Brier score, alerts, and market context in a structured way.

Is BrierIQ a recommendation service?

No. BrierIQ provides informational analytics only. It is built for independent research and review, not recommendations or instructions.

Does BrierIQ place trades or link to markets?

No. BrierIQ does not provide execution and does not provide direct market links. The product is intentionally designed around research-only workflows.

What is a research alert?

A research alert is a criteria-triggered notification that a market matched selected analytics conditions, such as probability movement, model-market divergence, liquidity thresholds, volume changes, or catalyst context. It is a prompt for review, not a recommendation.

What does near-real-time mean?

Near-real-time means low-latency market monitoring and alerting where available. Delivery timing can vary based on data availability, filters, infrastructure, and user settings.

Why is access limited?

BrierIQ is limiting access during beta to preserve alert quality, improve product feedback loops, support responsible rollout, and keep the research workflow disciplined.

What is the difference between Core and Plus?

Core is intended for dashboard access, research workflows, watchlists, and calibration history. Plus includes Core features plus controlled near-real-time criteria-triggered alert workflows when enabled and higher-touch beta access.

What is BrierIQ Direct?

BrierIQ Direct is a by-request future option for advanced users, teams, and research workflows that may need API access, custom exports, or higher-volume analytics. It is not broadly available during early beta.

Is BrierIQ affiliated with Kalshi?

No. BrierIQ is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Kalshi or any exchange.

What data is live today?

Coverage is expanding during controlled beta. See Beta Coverage for the current breakdown of live, beta, sample, and manual-mode surfaces.

What is a Brier score?

A Brier score measures how close a probability forecast was to the final outcome. Lower is better. It is useful because calibration is different from directional win rate: a forecast can often be directionally right while still being too confident or too cautious.

How do I contact support?
